PLoT Receives Artist in the Community Scheme Research and Development Award

PLoT receives funding to research and develop a new project working with a community of interest in Cork city northside to creatively explore the community stewardship of urban land use. We’ll be mentored by Berlin based Architect Dr. Sabine Horlitz who has expertise in Community Land Trust in the United States. Her current research focuses on collective forms of land tenure. She is a co-initiator of the Berlin neighborhood initiative “ps wedding”, a grass roots initiative developed in dialogue with various community organizations using a structure similar to the CLT model

Funding is supported by the Arts Council of Ireland managed by Create national development agency for collaborative arts.
